Basic usage of onomatopoeia materials
The onomatopoeia materials has all the katakana sounds + α necessary for creating an onomatopoeia.
You can copy and paste the necessary characters, create an onomatopoeia by transform and position adjustment.
The same letter can change the impression by free transform or mesh deformation.
You can freely create any characteristic for onomatopoeia materials.
It is more convenient to register the created onomatopoeia as material.
Utilization of White Border, Black Border and Tone
Impression changes by adding white border or black border to the onomatopoeia.
First, put the usual onomatopoeia on the screen.
Hold Ctrl key + left click on the onomatopoeia layer to take the selection area.
Save the selected area that created at this time by clicking in “convert to selection layer”.
It will be useful for work later.
Create a new layer with the selection area taken, choose ‘Outline Selection’ and create white border on new layer.

An example in which the solid(beta) was replaced with a tone.
A transparent tone for onomatopoeia is useful when you do not want to hide the background or person.
You can change the onomatopoeia from black to white with “Change color of line to drawing” from the Edit tab.
Add black border to the onomatopoeia converted to white with the same procedure as the previous work,
or you can also use ‘Thickness of edges’ on ‘Layer Property’.

Next we will arrange the onomatopoeia using Expand and Shrink selected area.

Shrink the selection area of the base and cut the contents.
