Draw Smoothly Without Stress! The Making of Urban Park with White Tree Brushes

Drawing trees is a huge amount of work and they are burdensome work.
Among all trees, white trees looks simple at first glance,
but they cannot be painted with black, so the roughness of detailed shapes and lines are very noticeable.

How to use brush materials and draw park with lush trees

 

First stamp the White Tree Brush with maximum size.

 

 

 

 

 

Make a layer underneath, then stroke trees at behind and be aware with the pen pressure.

 

 

 

 

Draw a foundation under trees that at the front side.

 

 

 

 

To show out the presence of trees and perspective effect,
draw grass under all trees and shade with hatching lines at the back of trees.

 

 

 

 

Create a gradient as water in the blank surface and draw surface of water in black.
※Using Free – Sea/River Surface Brush

 

 

 

 

Then draw highlights on water surface with white color.
※Using Free – Sea/River Surface Brush

 

 

 

 

Paste a 10% tone on the tree part.
Applied white tone to the black water surface and adjust the density,
so that it can blend well with white trees.

 

 

 

 

Then add sky tone in the sky.
Here i draw clouds in white above the gradient.
※Using Cloud Brushes

 

 

 

 

Also add splash of fountain at the front.
※Using Waves Splash Ribbon (includes in Stormy Waves 6 Type Brushes)

 

 

 

 

Finally, add buildings to the back and the urban park is completed.
※Here using 3D materials.

 

By using materials like this, background drawing can be done with a speed that can’t compare to hand drawing.
